Applications are invited from Indian nationals to work as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a research project funded by the Department of Boi-Technology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Title: “Scalable bioprocessing platform for the recombinant production of potent novel Antimicrobial peptides” No. of Position: 1 Duration: 2 years, with possibility of extension for 1 year more as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) subject to satisfactory performance. Last date for receiving application: 16th August, 2019. Essential Qualifications: First class Master’s degree in Biotechnology / Pharmacy / Relevant fields of Chemical Engineering / Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute. Preference will be given to candidates who are NET (CSIR/UGC) / GATE / GPAT qualified or have cleared National level examinations conducted by Central Govt. and their Institutions like DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc. Desired Skills: Skills associated with Cloning and Recombinant Protein Production. Age Limit : 28 yrs Salary: Candidates fulfilling any of the preferred criteria, as indicated in Essential Qualification, would be able to receive the following emoluments: JRF- Rs 31,000 + HRA (for first two years) SRF- Rs 35,000 + HRA (for 3rd year) For people not meeting any of the preferred qualifications: Rs 12000 + HRA How to Apply?
